A new style, with a new informal and instant opulence interpreting spaces, no longer linked to the ostentation of material goods but to giving full value to the spirit. Unusual, striking combinations, layers of life-experience – both old and modern – and precious elements cohabiting perfectly with recycled items, create an atmosphere that tells a very definite story: a contrasting duality clearly expressing specific identities.
The strongly personal symbols hark back to a dimension of domestic intimacy. The culture of past times takes a fresh look at the present: everything is connected, and a subtle, authentic thread really takes us back to an allure that is timeless.
This is the angle from which REX views each individual aspect of life, both social and personal, to build an aesthetic appeal tending towards beauty – an essential principle, and intrinsic to the very nature of human beings.
The strong, physical material of Esprit de Rex lends itself to being shaped by a creative design synergy that promotes highly-sought-after textures and decisive colours.
A dynamic combination of unusual architectural solutions defines the space, drawing from it an aesthetic potential for understated elegance. Composed with precision, the three different textures can be placed alongside each other to create a constant dialogue between them; they blend together into a personal emotional language, displaying an essential minimalism that enhances the feeling of quality without artifice. The colours in this range, combined with a highly patterned d&eacuta;cor tile in 20×20 cm size and with a retro flavour, create atmospheres characterized by a strong individuality.
The common denominator of beauty has always been the simplicity hidden behind a careful study of the balance between colour suggestions and architectural proportions. A fundamental interaction between the space and the person who will be the main actor in it.
Moderne Gris 40×80
is a glazed porcelain stoneware.
The porcelain stoneware tiles are obtained through a sintering process of ceramic clays, feldspar, kaolins and sand.
The raw materials are ground to a fine dust, then atomized until they reach a powder with a homogeneous particle size suitable for pressing.
In natural porcelain stoneware, surface and mass are identical. The stoneware tile presents a continuity of composition between surface and support that brings back a layer identical to the previous one with wear, without altering the aesthetic and functional characteristics of the floor.
The vitrified surface, an integral part of the tile structure, makes glazed porcelain stoneware an elegant and long-lasting material.
Glazed porcelain stoneware is easy to clean and particularly resistant to dirt and stains thanks to the glazing process which prevents the pigment of the stain from entering the pores of the tile.
